About the Artist Amy Weeks

Amy Weeks is an artist creating large-scale acrylic paintings filled with bold color and symbolism. These paintings typically depict imaginative emotional worlds. She was raised in Plymouth and Bourne Massachusetts, born right in Boston, and once featured in the Boston Globe newspaper. She developed her style intuitively, alongside formal a painting education, years before discovering Toyism as an identified art  movement. With paintings collected across the U.S., her work is known for its ability to transform a space and speak  directly to the emotional body.
